Eligibility Criteria

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test conducts in pen and paper mode. As per the authorities, there are some mandatory parameters that an aspirant must fulfill to appear in the NEET (full form National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Let’s find out what are those parameters are:-

  • You must be a citizen of India.
  • The candidate must be at least 17 years as of December 31, 2022, or the year of admission.
  • The candidate should have passed 12th in the science stream with an aggregate mark of 50% in each subject individually.
  • 40 % aggregate mark for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The NEET exam is conducted online and in 11 English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Assamese. The duration of the examination is three hours, and a candidate needs to answer 180 questions. The exam paper comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
